Cleanit will ensure that safety is a prime consideration in all aspects of their business.

Insurance

Cleanit will ensure that the appropriate insurance cover which embraces the company needs are being met and maintained.

Communication

Cleanit will ensure that any information concerning health and safety is communicated to all employees within the company. Cleanit will investigate any matter concerning health and safety raised by an employee, and any necessary action taken.

Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences

Cleanit will ensure that all accidents and/or dangerous occurrences are investigated and the appropriate action taken when any hazard is found.

Safety Checks

Cleanit will ensure that they undertake regular health and safety inspections within the company, Any area that does not meet satisfactory requirements will be investigated and appropriate action taken immediately.

Maintenance

Cleanit will ensure that they implement a regular maintenance schedule of all equipment with an emphasis on safety.

Cleanit will ensure that all work, repairs and maintenance to secure the safe working of any equipment is given priority and carried out promptly. Where this is not possible, the equipment shall be taken out of service until the repairs have been completed.

Health & Safely Policy Statement

General

Cleanit regards the promotion of Health, Safety and Welfare measures as an essential objective for employees at all levels.

It is therefore the policy of Cleanit to do all that is reasonable to prevent personal injury, damage to property and to protect everyone from foreseeable work hazards, including the public in as far as they come into contact with Cleanit.

In particular Cleanit has a responsibility to:

Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, taking into account statutory requirements.

Provide training and instruction, where necessary, to enable employees to perform their work safely and efficiently.

Make available all necessary safety devices and protective equipment and supervise their use.

Maintain a constant and continuing interest in health and safety issues applicable to Cleanit's activities, in particular by consulting and involving all employees.

Employees must be aware that they have a legal duty under the health and safety at work act 1974 to take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and other persons whom their acts or omissions at work may affect.

A nominated person of Cleanit will be responsible for ensuring the co ordination of health and safety.
